I judged at the inaugural Windward Community College Debate Tournament on October 26. The event brought together competitors from a few University of Hawai'i system schools for an amiable debate tournament.
The teams will clash again this Saturday at the 8th Bi-Annual Warrior Intramural Debate Tournament at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. As President of the Debate and Forensics Society, I've been heavily involved in the planning. We expect 32 teams of three- 96 debaters, 30 judges, and numerous spectators. Ours is the largest collegiate debate tournament in Hawai'i.
I'm excited for the tournament. I'll be competing, and it may be my last tournament at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa.
PS - Here are some recordings of another Monday at Rumfire.
